Way to go Nanc!
Neat stuff….. I think I helped out with the recent edition of MoneySense, but haven’t heard a peep back about it yet.
Hi Nancy, I have an article idea I wanted to run by you. I tried searching your website for an e-mail but couldn’t find one, it is in response to your post here:

Look forward to hearing from you soon,
Cheers

Yeah, Nancy is really a know-it-all !
Back in September 2008 I opened an account with Citizens Bank because Nanacy said so
see: Freebie (or nearly) wednesdays: Travelling this fall? A chq account for you.

Then I got a letter in the mail last week from Citizens Bank that I had to move my account to another institution because Citizens Bank was no longer offering banking services to the common man and woman.
Keep up the good advice Nancy!
Here’s the mesage I got in the mail:
“A public announcement made on August 5, 2009 outlines Vancity’s and Citizens Bank of Canada’s shift in business strategy and details the agreement to sell the majority of Citizens Bank’s residential mortgages, personal loans, and real estate secured lines of credit to TD Canada Trust. As a result of this sale, Citizens Bank will leave the personal and small business banking marketplace and will instead focus on offering our highly successful Visa* card and pre-paid card products to consumers, and foreign exchange services to non-retail clients.” – end quote
For those of you following Nancy’s good advice good luck!

ron, what’s your point — that Nancy was supposed to predict the demise of Citizens’ Bank of Canada a year ahead? Buddy, you need a soothsayer, not a money coach!
