This cracked me up:

Dear phisher wannabes: at least hire someone decent with photoshop or whatever to make the logo look somewhat like a reasonable facsimile thereof?

  1. I often get phishing emails like this warning about security breaches for accounts at banks at which I have never an account. Sadly though, I’m sure there are some people who fall for these scams.

Unrelated: the fact that you have more than 18,000 unread email messages in your inbox nearly gave me a heart attack!

holy smokes. I didn’t even notice how many unread e-mail messages are in there! It’s my “bacn” (was that the word) account – whenever I sign up for this or that (eg. facebook) I’ll use that address. Little of true importance goes there.

  2. Not to mention hiring someone who can tell “there” from “their”. Wonder how many they got with this one?

@guiness416 I like to think they got no-one but the painful truth is, for at least 30 seconds I read and re-read the e-mail before giving my head a shake and seeing it for what it was.
